Getting there

Kyle of Lochalsh has rail and coach connections, and by car you will reach Kyle of Lochalsh over some amazing scenery!

From Fort William  74 miles

Take the A82 north out of Fort William, and follow it as far as Invergarry.  Then take the A87, and follow it all the way to Kyle of Lochalsh.

From Inverness  78 miles

Take the A82 south out of Inverness, and follow it along the shores of Loch Ness as far as Invermoriston.  Then take the A887 signposted for Kyle of Lochalsh, and continue straight ahead onto the A87.  Follow this all the way to Kyle of Lochalsh.

From Glasgow  182 miles

Follow the A82 out of Glasgow, all the way past Loch Lomond, Crianlarich and Fort William.  Follow the A82 as far north as Invergarry, then take the A87, which should be followed all the way to Kyle of Lochalsh.

From Edinburgh  201 miles

Cross the Forth Road Bridge and take the M90 north to Perth.  From Perth, take the A9 northbound as far north as Dalwhinnie.  Then follow signs for Spean Bridge and Fort William, and follow the A86 to Spean Bridge.  Then take the A82 as far north as Invergarry, and then the A87 all the way to Kyle of Lochalsh.
